One of Britain’s most historic car production plant, Ford Dagenham, celebrated 90 years in business in October 2021, with a large-scale event held for staff based at the site. The plant has produced over 11 million vehicles since it’s establishment, so an impressive celebration was well justified.

The site required some sweet treats to celebrate their employee’s contribution to the operation of the plant and needed to cater for around 3,000 people. The centre piece of the celebration was a super-sized 500 portion 24 x 28-inch cake, which was accompanied by 25 ninety portion cakes. Each cake was branded with a printed logo, commissioned by ford as a commemoration of their anniversary milestone.

We knew that for Ford, the key to success was creating a spectacle for their valued team and ensuring that the anniversary was a major talking point. The impressive cakes were delivered by a dedicated van, at the request of the customer, and arrived the morning of their event.

The chef on site commented “Thanks from myself and the client based at Ford Dagenham, they loved the cakes, and they went down a treat and tasted lovely. Many Thanks for all your assistance in getting these organised and to the exact spec for the client”.

For Glasgow restaurant chain Steak, Cattle & Roll, innovative foods are key. Executive Chef Dennis Waller works closely with a number of suppliers to develop new and unique options for the grill business to serve to their customers. The site approached us with the task to provide a ready to serve dessert option that could be included on their menu.

Working with our current range we proposed our tasty cake jars, which offer a visually appealing and long-lasting cake product. The product itself works perfectly in a restaurant environment, as the jars are delivered with a 14-day life and can be stored ambiently. Steak Cattle & Roll are able to serve them as a dessert option, without sacrificing any focus on their core function as an American style grill house.

The restaurant ran a successful trial of the jars and has now committed to 10,000. We understood that for Steak Cattle and Roll, delivering consistent dessert products that incorporated their branding would assist them in growing their identity while saving their kitchens precious time.

The 14-day shelf life is ideal and storing the cake jars at room temperature is great as it frees up space inside the fridge for other items or even remove the fridge if not needed and save money on electric. All round a great product and sells well in my restaurants in Glasgow

One of London’s largest hotels recognise that for guest it’s the small details that set them apart from other sites. They wanted to enhance their guests stay by offering them a gift as they check in, in the form of a biscuit tin.

Making a tasty first impression was the hotel businesses aim, and they approached us looking for a product that would meet their budget requirements while offering a high-quality eating experience and meet various dietary requirements. We proposed our luxurious shortbread vegan biscuits packaged in a silver recyclable tin, each branded with a 50mm label.

The business used over 10,000 tins over a 3-month period, with a pallet of the tins arriving each week. The tins were a key part of the businesses re-opening to guests in 2021, creating a buzz upon arrival for both familiar and new faces at the hotel.

A UK based Contract Catering business recently used our services to fulfil an order into a major business’s distribution hubs up and down the UK. The business came to us with an urgent request to fulfil a cupcake project for over 20,000 units, which required delivery into more than 20 sites around the country.

The business purchased our products on behalf of their regular client, who was celebrating an awareness day at all of their sites. The cupcakes were a tasty touch for their celebrations and were successfully delivered without the need for the catering business to utilise their own production bandwidth to supply the products.

The catering businesses commented “you guys did a great job and I’m glad I found you”. Eat My Logo have worked with a number of catering businesses that have received specific requests for logo branded products as part of celebrations. We are glad to be of help to these businesses, supplying them with fully finished products without the need for them to worry about production of the products themselves.

For many catering businesses, ensuring that the food on offer to clients remains innovative, exciting and ahead of the curve is key to keeping customers impressed. For Harrison Catering, which provides catering services at education sites around the UK, offering themed menus is a regular occurrence.

Amongst other themed and event-based days, World Book Day formed a part of their offering early in 2022, with more than 30 sites engaging with students in the form of themed foods. Each site baked their own fresh cupcakes, and after frosting them with buttercream utilised logo branded toppers to decorate them, in keeping with the book day theme.

We provided over 10,000 toppers to the sites around the UK, allowing them to celebrate world book day with their students and staff in a fun and memorable way. The toppers enabled the catering units to turn a simple product into an elaborate and decorative option.
